Our Story
How FlagFootballAdvice.com Is Transforming Youth Flag Football Nationwide
Why We Exist
FlagFootballAdvice.com was created to solve a rapidly growing problem in youth sports: leagues were expanding in popularity, but the systems and structure required to operate at a high level simply didn't exist. Directors were overwhelmed. Coaches lacked training. Referees were inconsistent. Parents were frustrated. And kids — the heart of the game — weren't getting the professional experience they deserved.
Our mission is simple:
- •elevate the standard of youth flag football nationwide
- •empower league operators with proven systems
- •train coaches and referees with modern, battle-tested curriculum
- •improve parent experience and community satisfaction
- •give every athlete a safe, structured, high-energy environment to grow in
FlagFootballAdvice.com is building the blueprint for how modern youth flag football should operate.
How FlagFootballAdvice.com Was Born
The company was founded after witnessing firsthand how unprepared most youth organizations were for the growth of flag football. Leagues were popular — but unorganized. Directors were passionate — but overwhelmed. And after analyzing dozens of leagues nationwide, the root cause became clear: there were no industry-standard systems.
That changed when our founder, Gavin Fontenot, began developing the operational frameworks that later powered Louisiana Flag Football.
At just 17 years old, Gavin launched the league and scaled it from 175 players to 2,000+ through one core principle:
Systems Outperform Experience.
Instead of relying on age, background, or guesswork, he engineered frameworks that made growth predictable, operations smooth, and parent experience exceptional. His young age didn't hold him back — it proved that with the right systems, any league operator can achieve extraordinary results.
These systems became the foundation for FlagFootballAdvice.com — a platform built not around one league, but for the entire youth flag football industry.
What We Do Today
FlagFootballAdvice.com now serves every role inside a youth flag football ecosystem. Our company builds standardized systems, certified training, and scalable operational models for:
